Agri-Immanence team members attend the Skillnet Innovation Exchange “Discovery Exchange” Conference in Dublin, Ireland.
Members of the Agri-Immanence team (Prof. Charles Spillane, Molly McLaughin, Jefkine Kafunah) attended the Skillnet Innovation Exchange in Dublin, Ireland. The event organised by Research Ireland, the National Challenge Fund and Skillnet Innovation Exchange brought together over 250 delegates to explore the different mindsets, approaches and processes required to address big challenges in green transitions and digital transformation, to kickstart increased collaboration between industry and innovators.

A core theme of the day was the transition from the technology push of the early 21st century to more technology pull today. As industries and sectors transition to and embrace tech-based solutions, a key question is how the tech-based solutions can best support specific needs of industries.
For Agri-Immanence, the global greenhouse production sector is a sector with major potential for improved productivity, sustainability and prpfitability from scaling of tech-based solutions, such as Agri-Immancence’s digital agronomy decision-support tool.
The event was a fantastic opportunity for the team to engage with a broad range of stakeholders interested in Agri-Immanence technology and approach.
