Agri-Immanence team member, Molly McLoughlin, recently headed to Teagasc‘s 2024 Sustainability in Agriculture event, focused on Ireland’s Food Vision 2030 and ensuring Irish farmers and growers are supported in this transition.

The Conference was focused on Ireland’s Food Vision 2030, particularly ensuring Irish farmers and horticultural growers are supported to realise the vision.

Food Vision 2030 Strategy is a ten year Strategy for the Irish agri-food sector. The strategy takes a food systems approach to the Irish agrifood sector, aiming for Ireland to become a world leader in Sustainable Food Systems (SFS) over the next decade.

A key takeaway from the conference was the inter-relationship between food security and farmer livelihoods, which is also a design feature of the Agri-Immanence digital agronomy advisor.
