Agri-Immanence team member Alex visited the World Horti Centre in the Netherlands, gaining insights into latest opportunities and challenges in the greenhouse industry.
The World Horti Centre is a global leader in horticulture. The centre is home to a research centre with 39 greenhouse compartments.
The ‘greenhouse within a greenhouse’ used for R&D by the project was a stand-out item for the Agri-Immanence team, reaffirming Agri-Immanence’s mission to incorporate Living Labs into our research and innovation model.

Agri-Immanence makes use of greenhouses as Living Labs, (ultimately digital twins), to inform development and localisation of our data-driven digital agronomy assistant so that it can deliver advisories 24/7 that are specific to particular greenhouses, regions and growers.
Agri-Immanence is liasing with greenhouse growers and stakeholders across Europe, Africa and Asia to establish Living Labs as a key component of our technology and innovation approach.
The visit was a fantastic opportunity for Agri-Immenance, where we gained insights into cutting edge innovations in the greenhouse sector.
