AI digital horticulture advisor for the world’s greenhouses

Moving the dial on “food systems transformation” from rhetoric to reality on a global scale

Mission

Our mission is to support a sustainable transition for all greenhouse growers, enabling them to grow more while using fewer resources.

To achieve this, we provide farmers with a digital agronomy advisor. Through data monitoring and management of key inputs, Agri-Immanence explains what is happening in a farmer’s greenhouse in simple terms, allowing farmers to make decisions on their greenhouses. Through reducing inputs (while still maintaining or increasing outputs), Agri-Immanence helps farmers shift away from emission-dependent practices, promoting a more resilient, efficient, and sustainable agricultural system.

Our technology

Agri-Immanence uses information about a greenhouse’s conditions (either manually-entered by a farmer or taken from sensors in a greenhouse) and local weather data to build a personalised databank of a farmer’s greenhouse. This data is fed into our generative AI model which farmers can interact with via SMS or their smartphone. Farmers can ask questions about their greenhouse and best growing strategies, which our AI chatbot will respond to in natural language.

Agri-Immanence helps farmers make better, more informed decisions about their greenhouses. Through prediction and analysis of greenhouse conditions, Agri-Immanence can provide farmers with in-depth but easily understandable analyses of their farms.

Agri-Immanence is cheaper than an agronomy advisor and available year-round. For farmers without access to data about their greenhouse or who struggle to understand the complex datasets shared by agronomy advisors or IoT sensors, AgriImmanence offers an accessible way to understand complex greenhouse data, as well as a tailored advice to support grower decision-making.

Living Lab Model

The Agri-Immanence project uses a living lab model to generate real-world data for training the plant-growth and climate models that power the predictive model used by Agri-Immanence.

We feed this data into our digital twin technology. This ensures our chatbot is informed by real-world data, creating a region-specific and ground-truth digital twin for every farmer.

We have already created living labs in Ireland and Vietnam, generating data on low and mid-tech greenhouses. Our living labs are central to our mission of every farmer having access to the data they need to improve their greenhouse environments.
